The lover of Vedic studies would undoubtedly welcome the publication of the Rigveda alongwith its translation by H. H.Wilson. This is not a mere reprint of H. H. Wilson's translation and notes. It is entirely a new book which gives the text, translation and the notes of a particular mantra at one place (except vol. 2) thereby making its study many times easier and more fruitful because the reader world have the pleasure of conveniently comparing the original with the translation. The work is, trerefor, a valuable as set for the scholar as well as the general reader.
